『In A Dream』はトロイが監修した日本語リリック・ビデオも話題となったシングル「Take Yourself Home」や自身が出演・監督を務めたシングル「Easy」などを収録したEP。

『In A Dream』についてトロイは次のように語る:"これは今もまだ模索している途中のストーリーなんだけど、これらの曲のコレクションは感情や考えを驚くほどに最も新鮮に感じていた時に僕の感情が激しく変化していた時期を探求しているんだ。これらの曲とその瞬間と向き合うことは辛いけれども、この作品を誇りに思っているし、世に送り出すことにワクワクしているんだ"

トロイは、このEPのうち5曲をこれまでにテイラー・スウィフト、マルーン5、ザ・ウィークエンドらと共作してきた敏腕プロデューサーのオスカー・ゲレス氏と取り組んだ。

約1年半ぶりの新曲となった先行シングル「Take Yourself Home」はツイッターの世界トレンドで即座に1位を記録し、既に8000万回以上の楽曲再生数を記録している。

米PAPER誌は「Take Yourself Home」について"新型コロナウィルスの勃発後に出た曲の中で最も素晴らしいい曲の1つだろう"と絶賛をしている。
